Shop Barnes & Noble Jefferson Pointe or Glenbrook on Saturday, December 12 and they will donate a percentage of your purchase to the Museum! Download the voucher and present it at time of purchase or simply tell the cashier you want your purchase to benefit the Fort Wayne Museum of Art!
The day will feature art activities for kids, storytime with guest readers, artist demonstrations, and free gift wrapping at the Jefferson Pointe location. Check out what's happening....
10am Coffee with the Director
Start your day off right in the Barnes and Noble café with FWMoA Executive Director Charles Shepard. Charles will discuss what’s in store for the NEW Fort Wayne Museum of Art and all the exciting Spring events for our grand
re-opening weekend. Participants enjoy free coffee!
11am to 2pm Hands-On Art Activity Join FWMoA staff in the B&N Children’s area for fun activities that will inspire your creativity! Kids will have the chance to write, illustrate, and take home their own storybooks.
2pm Julia Meek's Folktales Live The voice of WBOI radio's Folktales will present a rousing rendition of her storytelling gifts with the musical talents of guitarist Jill Mozena.
11-12pm Story Reading with the Fort Wayne TinCaps Staff from the Fort Wayne TinCaps will bring children’s stories to life with the help of Johnny, the TinCaps mascot.
4-6pm Artist Demonstration with April Knox Fort Wayne painter April Knox will paint LIVE in the store! Be sure to take this opportunity to watch an artist show off their talents and wow a crowd. Enter for your chance to win her painting!
7-7:45pm Art & Espresso
Join us for some hot coffee and cool art. FWMoA Staff will show and discuss the fabulous work of Indiana's great artists in "Back Home Again in Indiana".
10am-9pm Free Gift Wrapping and Info Table staffed by FWMoA Staff and Volunteers
