Edward D. Auer Memorial Art Library

The Edward D. Auer Memorial Art Library is a collection of approximately 8,000 volumes and counting, historically used by staff and docents. For the first time in the history of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, we are excited to offer circulating materials, both in print and multimedia, in a brand new library space accessible to the public. With a new Online Catalog, access to databases ARTstor, Jstor and INSPIRE, we are ready to assist any student, educator, professional, or curious art lover who visits the Museum.  FWMoA Members have the opportunity to check out books and DVDs, and K-12 educators who are FWMoA members have the ability to check out Discovery Boxes, Museums by Mail and items from a circulating art collection. All members of the public are welcome to peruse our collection of resources on-site during library hours.

Use of the Edward D. Auer Memorial Art Library includes on-site access to books, periodicals, DVDs, electronic resources, and computers.

Circulation of books and DVDs is available to FWMoA members only.  Materials may be checked out for up to three weeks and may be renewed provided there are no holds placed on the item.  Periodicals and reference materials are non-circulating.
