Teachers

The Fort Wayne Museum of Art is inviting area Art teachers and Art Education college students to explore Carroll High School's Art Program and their brand new facility. We will explore why this school has one of the most successful art programs in Indiana through a tour of the facility and break out sessions that will take more focused looks into their success. Additionally, we will discuss Carroll's philosophies behind creating student portfolios and their practices of documenting their success to garner Administrative support.

The breakout sessions will focus on four majors areas: Painting/Drawing, Photography, Ceramics and the school's state-of-the-art Digital Design Lab. Each session will explore equipment, teaching techniques, and various examples of student work.

This program is a "can't miss" event. To RSVP, call Max Meyer at 260-422-6467 ext. 321, or email meyer@fwmoa.org. Workshop fees will be accepted by credit card, cash or check.  All RSVPs must be received by Thursday, November 12, 2009.
