Offsite Exhibitions

Specifically developed for small museums, libraries, non-profit galleries, and community centers, these exhibits are diverse and engaging to provoke thought and provide meaning to your audiences. We deliver each exhibit to your site and pick it up after the closing date. There is no rental fee for the exhibit. If you need us to install and dismount the exhibit there is a minimum fee of $100.
Exhibits available in 2009 – 2010:
• Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Natural Interventions – this photographic documentary exhibit explores several of the breathtaking installations of artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude, in which their application of materials into the natural environment create dramatically beautiful collaborations.
• Gwen Gutwein: Barns of Indiana – this exhibit of oil and acrylic paintings by respected landscapist Gwen Gutwein, pays homage to a disappearing aspect of the Indiana landscape: its great old barns.
• Ernest Withers: I Am A Man – African-American photographer Ernest Withers was working in the center of the Civil Rights movement and in this powerful series, he captured the Memphis Sanitation Workers’ strike led by Dr. King in 1968.
• Reflections On The Civil War – photographer Robert Morris has spent several years capturing emotionally evocative images of the historic battlefields of the Civil War. This exhibit features some of the most historically significant sites of the War as they are preserved today.
Art·ol·o·gy: The Intersection of Art & Nature - Art·ol·ogy is an exciting collaborative exhibition presented by the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and ACRES Land Trust emphasizing the convergence of the visual arts and the natural world.Twenty area artists were commissioned to respond to an ACRES preserve in a variety of media and methods. The stunning result will travel to five cities across northeast Indiana from January through October 2010. The exhibition will culminate in an auction and sale at the FWMoA to honor the 50th Anniversary of the ACRES Land Trust. Venues will include: The Honeywell Center in Wabash, Pokagon State Park in Steuben County, the Garrett Museum of Art, Arts Place, Inc in Portland and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.
