Where does the bus park?
Due to the construction happening at the museum Buses may need to park on Barr Street near Headwaters Park.
If you have any other questions feel free to give Joslyn Elliott a call at 260-422-6467 ext 319 or email at elliott@fwmoa.org.
Do you know we pay the transportation costs for schools in need? If your school has cut back on transportation costs, we may be able to assist with the Yellow Bus Fund.
The Yellow Bus Fund
Schools have cut back on their field trips due to the increases in transportation cost and decreasing budgets. The Yellow Bus Fund allows the Fort Wayne Museum of Art to reimburse schools for their transportation cost and is a great tool to bring your students to the museum. If the Yellow Bus Fund is a program your school would benefit from please contact Joslyn Elliott at 260-422-6467 ext. 319 or elliott@fwmoa.org to schedule a tour and use the fund.
What does the Yellow Bus Fund cover
The transportation and admission cost (if applicable).
How to use the Yellow Bus Fund
- When scheduling your tour let us know you would like to use the Yellow Bus Fund.
- Have your Transportation Department invoice the Museum for the cost of the transportation within 4 weeks after your tour.
- Either mail, fax or hand deliver (at the time of your tour) the invoice to the Museum.
- Your school will be reimbursed for the invoiced amount by check (within a few weeks).
- There is a limited budget so please schedule as soon as you are able to obtain use of the Yellow Bus Fund.
